WHAT TO EXPECT
THE ANSWERS YOU NEED
We would like to invite you to the next kids and adults BJJ Scrimmage on Saturday June 16th, 2018 at in Milwaukee, WI at Nova Gyms.
Our “tournament style” events are designed to help participants of all levels gain valuable competitive experience without paying steep registration costs and spending all day at a venue! Competitors will not leave with medals but will leave with competition experience, having rolled as many times as possible with new faces from the Midwest BJJ community, and lots of prizes from our sponsors!
The matches are casually bracketed to give the competitors the most realist look at an actual tournament “standard bracket”, but the matches are not single elimination. Instead, we continue to make matches throughout the events to ensure that the students have the opportunity to make adjustments to their game and always have another chance at picking up a “W”. It’s almost like a well organized open mat, but with prizes, music, and fans to watch. It’s just plain FUN!
The registration and the general rules can be found on www.bjj.today.
The matches will be traditional points style and will also have some sub - only brackets with EBI style overtime rules for the participants to try out .
These events get bigger every time and we are excited to bring new schools in from all over the state and surrounding area!
If you ask anyone who has been to our events in the past they will tell you that they had a great experience, they learned alot, and most importantly they all had fun.
